When I first got cable Internet service, I was unsure about the cost. I knew that it was much faster and much more reliable than what I was using, but the price tag seemed awfully high. Before cable Internet service was popular, most used dial up. This was fine for the most part, despite the interruptions and loss of service at times. Even a two hour long video can be downloaded on my connection in about ten minutes, at least in my experience. I realize that there may be some that think even that is a bit slow, but for me, that was just fine. Even better, I didn’t have to worry much about my cable Internet service going out and messing up my download. The download was smooth, quick and very easy.

As for as reliability, I am happy with the cable Internet service that we have. I have only had two instances that I can think of when the Internet went out and each time was the result of something beyond the control of my provider. It has always been reliable and I am willing to guess that it will continue to be so in the future. Those who work online like me can really benefit from cable Internet service and also, it’s a tax deduction. Granted, that does not change what you have to pay for service each month, but it can give you some relief when it comes time to figure out how much you are going to have to pay in to the IRS.
