So You Want To Marry A Millionaire
If you are a fan of reality shows, or perhaps used to be, you probably remember the show “Who Wants To Marry A Millionaire.” This was perhaps one of the first reality shows that I remember watching, and I wanted it purely out of morbid curiosity. I’m not big on reality shows, and I certainly go out of my way to avoid them now. I hope they have finally run their course, and I hope that better television will come along to replace many of the inane offerings that are out there now. They are truly scrapping the bottom of the barrel these days. It’s almost insulting!
The best thing about this show was seeing the women out there that want to marry a millionaire just for his money. It’s astounding to me that someone would want to spend his or her life with someone just to have the money. What if you can’t stand them? How in the world do these women sleep with a man that may very well repulse them on sight? I guess if you go out to marry a millionaire just to have the money, you deserve the discomfort you are going to go through. I hope these guys have iron clad pre-nups, that’s all I have to say.
If you want to marry a millionaire, you don’t have to go on a cheesy reality show to do so. I do hope that even if you want the money very badly that you won’t marry someone you don’t love. I guess there is no harm in wanting to fall in love with someone who is better off, but don’t let that become the focus of your life. You can marry a millionaire and have all the money in the world, but you aren’t going to be very happy, that I can tell you. There have been many before you and there will be many behind you, and everyone learns that same lesson.
What surprises me even more is that there are websites out there for people who want to marry a millionaire. I couldn’t believe how many there were, and I am guessing they are very popular. All I know is that it would be wonderful to marry a millionaire, but surely that is not all there is to life. I love the one I have, and he is not a millionaire. I don’t think any amount of money could have kept me away from him. It’s really not about the money. The money is nice, but marry for love. If you happen to marry a millionaire, the money will just be a pleasant bonus to true happiness.
